Ecocolumn Project

Pupose :
The whole purpose of the Ecocolumn Lab as a model of the real world was too see how we as
clement being effect the environment and how our actions could causes positives or negatives. The
Ecocolumn Lab is a recyc science lable tool for learning because it helps or shows us how us human effect
the planet we live on and its factors. The things that are worry , like an ecosystem outside is
bacteria , lot , organisms , and early(a) a biotic factors. Its an closed system because its not
outside its within where no other factors are effecting it but the fruit flys from other labs we
had in the room, but it gets plenty of sunlight.
Materials :
The materials I used for this lab was four two liter bottles , tape , soil , throne seeds , fruits , leafs
, some sticks , a plant , sand and a fish. In the Aquatic chamber we had sand , a plant , and a
small property fish. In the Terrestrial chamber we befuddle soil and grass seeds. In the Decomposition
chamber I have soil mixed with fruit , leafs , and other objects that split up . In the
Predator/Prey chamber I had postcode but sticks . I had no abiotic factors but I had biotic factors
which where the fruit flys and the fish .
Procedure :
How I upchuck the ecocolumn unneurotic was , I got 4 bottles and tape.



On the first bottle I cut the top
part and filed a small per centum of sand and stuck a water plant , then afterward on I put a small gold
fish. The second bottle I put soil and some grass seeds. In the 3rd bottle is the decomposer
where I put soil and other things that decompose like fruits and leafs . 4th and lowest bottle is the
predator chamber when there should have been a insects or some short of thing that eats .
what I used to collect my data was a series or equipment . I used it a thing for dissolved group O ,
temperate , pH level , turbidity , nitrate , inorganic phosphate , salinity ,TDS and the ordor.
