Psalm 119

Thy parole is a lamp unto my feet - This begins a new portion of the psalm, indicated by the Hebrew letter Nun (? n), equivalent to our n. The margin hither is candle. The Hebrew word means a light, lamp, candle. The idea is, that the word of perfection is similar a torch or lamp net ton man in a dark night. It is a light which shines on the way that a man treads, so that he may befool the path, and that he may examine any danger which may be in his path.
