Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton in 1869. The American Woman suffrage Association (AWSA) founded by Lucy Stone and Henry Blackwell also in 1869. A collaboration of the two associations when the heads of AWSAs Lucy Stone, and Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton of NWSA formed together to create the National American Woman Suffrage Association (NAWSA) in 1890. These women were sometimes arrested and fined for their actions as was the story of Susan B.
