When traveling to other countries, you tack together new people, and you may level start to socialize with them. Not all people do that, and not when you travel to a country who recently stone-broke free from communism. This is the case in the short fable Glasnost.
The story takes place in Uzbekistan in the former Soviet substance where the main characters of the story, a british married couple, atomic number 18 on holiday. They spend most their spargon time traveling well-nigh the world. They enjoy looking at tourists. Because according to themselves, they are not tourists. They do not travel for the food and the sun. They travel to meet new people. When they arrive at their hotel, they meet an american couple, dean and Thelma. They chat alot with dean and Thelma, and also tell them about Dima. Dean and Thelma are not as openminded, or naive if you rove it that way, as Edward and gladness. Dean and Thelma instantly doubt Dimas invitation. They hazard he invites them home to question them or worse. Dean suggests that Edward and delight pay an official guide to take them around.

The difference of the two couples are that Edward and Joy suppose in the good of all people.
