Learning Styles

Portfolio Exercise A:

(2)

The two learning styles I incur decided to compare my learning style with are Theorists and Reflectors.

A Theorists learns best from situations involving concepts or theory, they can easily analyse and estimate information. From the descriptions given to us in sectionalization notes on the distinguishable learning styles they learn least when they ‘ flavour out of crease with some other participants, for example when they are with lots of activists!’ ( class notes, folk 2008.) Theorist learn best when what is existence offered is part of a concept or theory, whereas being and Activist I would favour to learn from practical practice rather than learning from theory. The two styles of learning are so different from each other, I found that I could relate to some of the statements belonging to the other learning styles but with a Theorist I didn’t relate any of my learning styles with.

However, Reflectors learn best from being unionised, they like to think about their activities first and like to follow their learning. They learn least from situations where they feel forced into the centre of circumspection or having to act without planning. Having compared the Reflector style with myself I feel a can relate to some of the information. I alike like to have time to think, having things planned and to be organized if work is due in or a class test is taking place for example. The Reflector style was likewise the second highest score I got in the Honey and Mumford’s Questionnaire.
