Executive Summary

This assignment is a hypothetical study in the report format addressing the issues of cross cultural management at organizational level. The report is being presented to the CEO of an organization from Pakistan which is active to undertake an international strategic alliance with a fraternity from Japan and a company from USA. This report gives a picture study of the cultures of the three countries. It further explores the similarities and differences in the cultures of these countries on the al-Qaida of two academic models namely Geert Hafstede and Fon Trompeneaars. In light of the abstract of the three cultures, the comparison of management styles in these countries is highlighted with roughly recommendations by the author to improve the cultural intelligence in the organizations and making the alliance possible.

1. Cultural profile of Pakistan:

Introduction:
The culture of Pakistan is an union of different cultures from the surrounding region. Other than this, there ar some preserves on the culture because of the British rule before the freedom and in the present world there is a gravid influence of different cultures, especially western cultures cod to globalization and international media.




Religion:
Islam being the major religion in Pakistan, majority of the population is Muslim and the religious values atomic number 18 given much importance, therefore, influencing the culture. Christians, Hindus and Sikhs argon in minority.
Languages:
